From the north to the east...
From Basel, Zurich and Munich to Chur (and onwards to Arosa, St.Moritz, Laax and Disentis Sedrun) and Landquart (and onwards to Klosters, Davos and Scuol) are the main public transportation routes.
Bus connections are also provided from Landeck on the Austrian railway network (Munich, Innsbruck and Vienna) to Scuol, which has a rail connection to St.Moritz.
From the west...
You can reach Graubünden via the Oberalp Pass. For example, on board the renowned Glacier Express, the direct train connection from Zermatt to St.Moritz and Davos.
From the south...
Fast PostBus connections operate between Bellinzona and Chur, as well as Lugano and St.Moritz. The legendary route of the Bernina Express connects Tirano on the Italian rail network (Milan) with St.Moritz.

Important: Seat reservation is sometimes required.
Swiss federal railways and the neighbouring rail networks allow accompanied bikes on cross-border trains.
To be able to take your bike with you when travelling abroad, you must first buy an international bike ticket. This is valid from the point of departure to the destination on your ticket. Reservations for accompanied bikes on cross-border trains are required and are included in the price of the international bike ticket.

Swiss Pass
The Swiss Pass entitles you to unlimited travel on consecutive days throughout the Swiss Travel System rail, bus and boat network. The Swiss Pass is available for 4, 8, 15 or 22 days or one month.
